¶ Organisation Profile | Measures (OTMs)
In this section you may update the organisation-wide implementation status of organisational and technical measures (OTMs).
¶ Context
The measures tab in “My Organisation” allows you to select different organisational and technical measures (OTMs) as "implemented".
These OTMs, and their individual demarcation as "implemented" are
- pertaining to the organisation as a whole, not individual Processing Activities (PAs).
- optional / not required, to complete your profile and/or generate policy recommendations.
- only used to keep track of the implementation status (policy enforcement monitoring) of the OTMs, which is a manual activity. It is not used for any assessments or recommendations.
If you are just beginning to use SENTINEL, we recommend that you browse through the ten (10) global OTM categories in this section to get a better understanding of the OTM structure and individual measures that might be recommended at every risk level, but you don't have to declare their implementation status for your organisation individually, which may be a time-consuming process. You may complete this task at a later stage, after having reviewed you tailored recommendations.
¶ Procedure
- Click “My Organisation on the Main Menu".
- Click “Edit Measures".
- Use the checkboxes alongside the OTMs to denote which OTMs you have implemented in your organisation.
- Repeat the process for all of the global categories.
- Click “Save”.
